One aspect of the Delivering Data chapter that really stuck with me was to always ask yourself “Who is my audience and what are their needs?”. I feel like one of the most important things to remember when working with music data in Austin is to keep in mind who we are targeting, what they want and how they want to access the information.

I found the data set outlining the 2015 Spring Festival Applicants. During festival times, anyone can easily access this data to see how long each permit lasts and where the exact address of each venue/event is located.

If we kept track of this applicant data year after year, we would be able to see which events/companies keep coming back for permits and are experiencing success at the festival.
