Data Journalism is a form of storytelling that incorporates the use of numbers, statistics, or other quantifiable information into the storytelling process. However, it is not simply stories that have numbers in them. I think traditional journalism is full of stories that use numbers in some way. The thing that makes Data Journalism different is that it focuses on presenting these numbers visually, in ways that make data easily understandable and digestible to a reader and not just as a set of numbers to go through.
