The title is actually relevant to what I’ve turned into after digging into this assignment. I did this assignment over The Walking Dead because it’s one of my favorite shows. Since the Season Finale was this past Sunday on April 3, tweets were off the charts (there was over one million just during the Season Finale) so it was a great topic to choose! I used 4,000 tweets on The Walking Dead hashtag and found some pretty obvious trends. Many of the buzz words were Season, Finale, and Sunday. It’s clear that Season and Finale were commonly used words because the Season Finale was coming up, and Sunday occurred frequently because the show airs on Sunday. Two characters names also frequently showed up because there were rumors that one of them died and the other one is the new evil villain in the show.
