Hi everyone, my name is Paige and I am a journalism senior planning to graduate in December. Wooo!! I’m got a feeling my stress levels will hit maximum capacity this semester. I currently work for a newspaper in Dripping Springs, but my passion is writing about physical/mental differences. (more widely known as disabilities.)

Just an idea, but since the music industry is growing and integrates to much technology, whether it be in creation or distribution, I want to see if there has been any innovations in access and integration in the industry. It may be look at the ease of attending music festivals, buying music if you are visually impaired, or making music with a physical difference. Like the music industry, there really isn’t a lot of data about differences past census records and such.

I wonder how many people with a difference make music? (I know a few, and they are awesome!!!) I’m not sure of which direction to go, or what this will even look like. But definitely an idea I’m curious about.

A little side note. If you are ever covering an event or interviewing someone with a difference/disability, this site has all the resources you will ever need.

Hi coders!
