We want to look into where certain kinds of different styles of music are coming from certain parts in Austin.
One of the best ways to do this is to break it up my zip codes/ or neighborhoods. We were kind of thinking of looking into how KUT On My Block project focused specifically in on area of Austin.
But instead of having rows of boxes – with pictures, text and audio – we thought of incorporating a parallax demo.
This would be the best way to tell our story, because we would be talking about different genres of music growing certain parts of Austin.
We wanted to include sound slides, some video and text. This format would allow us to have our story be more fluid.

In this picture we tried to sketch an outline of what our page would look like/ our possible stories would include upcoming artist in certain areas; what is people on social media talking about – what do they hate most, what is popular.
Some of the things we could possibly add is interactive pie and bar charts using fusion tables. We would also have video and audio impeded into text using Knight Lab.
