Jesse Witt & Virginia Alves – The Battle for Red River
Hey guys!
As we discussed in class, this was the output for our final project. For it, we used the Google Maps API and HighCharts.js to visualize data related to sound, red river, and, the story as its being told in Austin.
We learned a lot about using JavaScript with Google Maps, customizing HighCharts, and visualizing data using bar graphs. Needless to say it was an immense amount of time researching and presenting information in a way that was comprehensible and readily accessible for the user.
With that in mind- we also wanted to take a moment and express our gratitude for everyone at the end of the semester. We had a blast, learned a bunch, and generally developed some interesting pieces for our portfolio.
