So for my first project I want to be able to make a quiz that doesn’t have right or wrong answers but that is fun and on a topic that I know a little too much about. I was inspired by a quiz on Buzzfeed that said “What color should you dye your hair?”. I dye my hair all the time so naturally I took the quiz. It was cute and it distracted me from my responsibilities
s for a few minutes, so i’m pretty sure it did it’s job.
I am going to put a twist on it and make a quiz about “What makeup trend you should try next”. Thats right, more makeup, sorry. The way I’m thinking about doing this is setting different values to each answer. Depending on how low or high you score the easier or more challenging trend will pop up. So if you score a 0-25 you would get an easier trend then if you scored a 75-100.
The questions will evaluate how much time you spend doing your makeup, if you do it at all, and how much you want to experiment with new trends. Depending on the score, the answer will pop up and give a description of what trend you received and maybe even a link to a website to help you get started. It would be nice instead of a one page quiz, if each question had separate pages and at the very end the answer pops up on its own page as well. Right now the only thing I can visualize is the quiz that we all made together in class but I plan to mess around with the CSS and see if I can make separate pages for each answer.
