My chart is about how the most popular genres within the African American community and how this influences the music industry. I looked at the most popular genres from 2010-2013.
The data I had compared the number of streams, album and single download, which were popular during that time.
I got my data from Youtube, Billboard and Nielsen Diverse Intelligence Series.
I hope this information is of some interest to you. I have to say it was quite for hard me to tell a story with the data I found. I ended up not using two charts I made, because they didn’t make much sense. I took a closer look at two studies I found online, but didn’t know how to conceptualize the information on to a chart.
