During the 2007 Nigerian Presidential election, the pundits were able to predict the presidential winner simply by monitoring the nations social media. Although I know that this nation monitors social media regarding their candidates, I wonder to what extent.
Freshman senator Marco Rubio, announced his bid for president on Monday, the day after Hillary announced her candidacy. I wonder if we can successfully predict the forerunner for each party and subsequent president of the US, by simply following Twitter and Facebook.
