During a conversation with Adelitas Way front man, Rick DeJesus, he explained why major rock and metal groups stay away from Austin. “Austin is just not a Rock n Roll town,” said Dejesus. With that in mind, my project would be to determine what major Texas cities are know for what types of music. Is Houston more Rock n Roll than Austin? Than San Antonio? I intend to find out.
