Data Journalism to me is an interactive way to keep the reader interested. I know myself when I read data in plain form, it is overwhelming, it doesn’t make sense, or it just bores me. I love how data journalism really tries to capture an audience as well as keep them entertained and involved. It’s not just about just those characteristics, but also finding an enjoyable and memorable way to deliver important facts to readers. I think also, its easier to understand data when its in a more visual form. TO me this is definitely the future of journalism. It’s visually enticing and you also gather information and learn and are now informed.
