Crowd-sourcing and Visualization

I was very interested in this French visualization of water usage. Users can input their water utility bill and other information. This allows people to view the water usage market. NGO’s can use the data to help further get an understanding of the prices and usage.

This use crowd-sourcing information, can by used to create charts and other visualizations to help bolster people to offer their input.

Famous sites like Kickstarter, can use data visualization to show how their profits are being used in a creative way. Such uses could even get people to donate or offer input to the project in question.
