The video game industry has always been a place where women remain outsiders. However, the number of women who game and are involved in the industry keeps growing. So I did some research and found a report where they did surveys around the world with the purpose to find out the gender of gamers. What they found was interesting. Even though there is a lot of male gamers, around the world (for the most part at least), the number of girl gamers is increasing!
What I think is interesting is that not only is the number of girl gamers increasing, but according to several studies, the amount of women working in the industry has doubled in the past few years. But What I wonder, are women treated fairly?
